Students are invited to join a zoom meeting on April 5, 9am(EDT)/9:00pm(HKT)/3:00pm(Amsterdam) /6:30pm(India).

This zoom meeting is a main session for briefing and introduction of the app. There will be several breakout rooms that simulate different tables at Coffee Shop, and students are able to join different breakout rooms (coffee tables) after the briefing. In the Coffee Shop, students are welcomed to converse with each other and meet new friends. There will be coffee shop music playing in the background, and students are encouraged to use a virtual coffee shop background image, and grab a coffee while in the virtual coffee shop.

In the real app, there will be an icon labeled “xxx University Student Coffee Shop” on the map. Once click on the icon, users are directed to the virtual coffee shop environment. In there, users are free to walk to different coffee tables and join conversations with other users.
